Spring arrived!🌸🌞 At least to Hungary. 🤪 Spring arrived!🌸🌞 At least to Hungary. 🤪 We spent the last 2 weeks there with my family. Most days we had lovely sunny weather and we went on many bike rides. 🚲The cycle path along the Danube is a great safe way to start it with Peter. The surface is smooth and the trail is car free. There are many cafes and sights along the way to stop for some rest.
I can’t wait to start cycling with Peter in the UK as well. Now only to wait for the good weather to arrive here as well. 😅

A little update about our 1000 hours outside chall A little update about our 1000 hours outside challenge. We had a good month with lovely weather and a trip to Snowdonia. 🌊⛰️🌲

How did you do? What was your favourite outside moment from February?

We've been using our @outnabout360 pram on a daily We've been using our @outnabout360 pram on a daily basis ever since Peter was born. I prefer using a pushchair over baby wearing, as I just find it more comfortable. Also, Peter is more reliably happy in a buggy, than in a carrier. Luckily our pushchair is capable of riding off-road. In the last 7 months, we took this pram on many adventures and it worked fantastically. Snowy and icy pavements, muddy hills, sandy beaches... we really tested it at some rough terrain. Here is a quick summary, but if you want to read my full review, then head to my blog.

Pros:
– Easy to push with one hand
– Big storage at the bottom
– Can be used from newborn to 22 kg
– Tyres work great on all terrain
– Many colour options
– Affordable
– Comes with a raincover

Cons
– Air-filled tyres may get a puncture
– Sunshade doesn’t go down low enough. Needed to buy an additional sun cover
– Sunshade makes a clicking noise when opening/closing, which can wake up a light sleeper
– Not ideal for travelling and in small shops, as it’s bulky
- Baby is not parent facing

What pushchair do you have? Are you happy with it?

We are back from another holiday exploring Snowdon We are back from another holiday exploring Snowdonia. This was our 4th time in the region and we enjoyed showing Peter some of our favourite spots.

What is a place you love so much that you return to year after year?

This year I am taking part in the @1000hoursoutsid This year I am taking part in the @1000hoursoutside challange along with some other adventure mums like @mumvoyage_ and @iona.adventuring

My goal is to spend some quality time with Peter outdoors. 🥰 This could be hiking, playing in the park, having a nap outside or going to the beach…

In January we spent 21 hours outdoors. I am sure once it starts to warm up and Peter gets more mobile we will get out even more.
Looking forward to a year full of outdoor fun and adventures. 💚

Have you heard of this challange before? Do you think you could make it?

Happy New Year! We kicked off 2023 in Slovakia at Happy New Year! We kicked off 2023 in Slovakia at a ski holiday. ⛷ If you have been following the news, then you probably heard that this period was particularly warm in Europe and most ski resorts were really struggling. Really devastating for the winter tourism industry who were preparing for their first full season since covid.⁣
⁣
We chose Slovakia’s biggest resort for our ski trip, as it was the closest decent sized resort to my family’s house in Hungary. The conditions at Jasna weren’t too bad. There were plenty of slopes open. We didn’t get the lovely winter wonderland feeling with snow covered mountains like we did in previous years, but after missing out on skiing in the past 4 years, we were just happy to be back on the slopes again. 😀⁣
⁣
Peter is an ebf baby, so having my parents with us was great help. They looked after him while we skied and we met at lunchtime to feed him. We also went on some local walks.⁣
⁣
I heard that snow arrived to the Alps and Tatra Mountains today, so hopefully the rest of the season will be more reliable and enjoyable for the ski lovers.⁣
⁣
Have you been skiing yet this season? How was your experience?⁣
